logo was designed by John M. Jacobs, co-founder of the Corporation.
The ladle is a tool used in the "olden
days" of plumbing for pouring hot lead onto joints. The tool is seldom
used today because of the harmful effects of lead pipe. The wrench, more
precisely the pipe wrench, is a very common and useful tool in the plumbing and
pipefitting industry.
